The workshop was organized in Karachi to educate women about the possibilities of E-commerce. It was part of a wider campaign by the company, named 'Women Entrepreneurship Drive', which is an attempt to provide women in Pakistan with a sustainable platform to build their businesses.

United Nations (UN) states that only 3% of Pakistani women are part of the financial system, which is clearly a very low percentage. Online platforms can help change this as female entrepreneurs can even establish a successful businesses from the comfort of their home.

The workshop saw a number of women register to become a seller on Kaymu's platform, and they urged the need for organization of similar workshops to help them establish their businesses. The workshop also provided women with an insight into the dynamics of Pakistan's online world.

The e-commerce industry as a whole should work to educate women on the opportunities that online platforms bring. We need to start integrating women into Pakistan's growing e-commerce landscape.
